Rosedown Plantation
Surrounded by landscaped gardens and fountains. Rosedown is one of the most visited plantations in Louisiana. Built by Daniel Turnbull, known as the wealthiest man in America before the Civil War, in 1834. The Turnbulls named the plantation after a play they had seen on their honeymoon.
